Look at how happy Tyne is. He doesn’t get to have the upper hand all that often. Byzan, however, is still a bit of a Deputy Downer.

Well, tomorrow is a big day. I’m taking #Squirrel in for eye surgery tomorrow. After that, she’ll be homebound for 2-4 weeks after that, and she basically won’t be able to see for most of that time, as I understand it. TWO TO FOUR WEEKS.

I can’t overstate how hard a situation like that is. I can’t imagine being basically blind for that long. It would drive me crazy. I mean, I depend on my eyes UTTERLY. I’d be unable to work, to read, to watch TV. And I’d need someone to help me with damn near everything.

So I’m going to be nursemaid and seeing-eye dog for a month. It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster, I’m sure of it. It’ll be hard on me and WAY harder on her.

Small price to pay to preserve her vision, though. Very small price to pay. (We’re also paying several thousand dollars, but that’s neither here nor there.)

Get well, Squirrel! Let your recovery time just fly like wooosh!

These guys are certainly up to something, it reminds me of some movies, where a “black horse” 3d party is intruding the plot and turns it upside down.
Also… man, as much as i like Will’s graphics, the women profiles still look like ugly donkeys to me. Especially coughing Jusadva. That blood curse she has must be a harsh thing!

I will be sure to share the phrase “ugly donkeys” with Will! 😀

Just don’t pull it out of context! 🙂

Audiobooks. Libraries have ’em for free.

    Best wishes, Squirrel!

Squirrel has responded to the surgery exceptionally well, and I’ll go into more detail in the Monday blog post. But thank you for the kind thoughts! She appreciates it!
